The ingredients must have come to me in my sleep. The more I use my slow cooker, the more I love it.

Cedar Planked Salmon with Cayenne Lime Butter

This salmon is so delicious on it's own. I decided to cedar plank the salmon on the grill, and drizzle it with some cayenne lime butter.

After having a bite of the Chipotle Chicken Tacos my coworker brought for lunch a couple of weeks ago, this was my dinner two days later.

Avocado Chicken Salad Sandwich

If you know me you know I am a sucker for avocado and chipotle. I used a rotisserie chicken so it's super easy to make.

Egg, Prosciutto & Tomato Muffins
Sriracha Meatballs

I'm a big fan of savory muffins. These are pretty much mini omelettes in a cup. They are perfect for weekend brunch, and even better to make ahead for the week and then pop them in the microwave.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo Chicken Dip

March is here! You know what that means? Tis the season for College Basketball...Rock Chalk Jayhawk! This Buffalo Chicken Dip will be perfect for your March Madness party.

Warning: This creamy, buffalo goodness is addicting and I'd recommend whipping out your stretchy pants for consumption. Also, send all leftovers home with guests, or you may find yourself snacking on it before dinner, after dinner and for breakfast.

Chef Keck brought this to our Super Bowl Party, and let's just say the popular seats were directly around this vat of dip. It is perfect for a crowd...delicious and easy to whip together.

Bacon Wrapped Chili Lime Shrimp

Bacon Wrapped Chili Lime Shrimp

I'm a little behind on posts so you're going to see some recipes that were taste tested at my Super Bowl party popping up the next couple of weeks. Good news is, you can eat dips and appetizers anytime of the year!

I'm generally a dip fanatic, but these shrimp brought some competition to the table. They were a pop of flavor in my mouth! I can't wait to make some for myself...when I'm home alone...and don't have to share them with a dozen people.

Chef Andi brought the shrimp to the party, and can we talk about her plating skills? I need to invite her over more often, just to make my food look prettier for you all! Oh, and know what else she brought?

Chili Club: True Texas Chili

Chili club today!

Ignore the cell phone pictures, this True Texas Chili was bursting with spicy, delicious flavors and if you are a chili lover like me...you need to try this recipe. It was made by a Texan, so it's clearly legit...filled with chunks of beef...no beans, no tomatoes. Not to go on, but the flavors really came together in this and it was awesome. According to Chef Janie, the key to this chili, is the final step in the recipe, with the brown sugar and vinegar.

I of course love all of the different chili's I've tried at chili club, but I also really like seeing what everyone offers up as garnishes. Along with sour cream, we squeezed in some lime to offset the heat, and had tortillas and fritos as options.

For all of you chili lovers, below is a recap of all of our chili club recipes...from Jersey City to Seattle. I can't wait to keep adding to this list!

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about CHILI CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop", goes limp, or taps out, the meal is over.

4th RULE: Only one cook to a night.

5th RULE: One bite at a time.

6th RULE: No soups, no sauces.

7th RULE: Meals will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at CHILI CLUB, you HAVE to eat.

Non Traditional Chili 2

Chili Club has officially relocated to Seattle, we'll definitely miss the delicious chili from Amanda & Dennis, but I do think the new crew has a lot to offer. If anything at all, it's a club taken seriously...membership is up to ten and as you saw above, rules were created. These will come in very helpful when you're looking to create a chili club of your own. I know you want to.

Now onto the chili. I made the chili this time around and went with a non-traditional style.

Non Traditional Chili

My brother sent me this recipe, it's pork butt based, cooks long and slow, and I absolutely

Happy Football Season!

Happy Football Season, which means it's one of my favorite times of year (March Madness tops football season in my book)! To celebrate College Football kicking off last weekend and the NFL kicking off today I have a recipe round up of some football food. This is a combination of recipes from KMW as well as recipes from other blogs that I'll be testing out this season.

Who will you be cheering on? I'm all about the Chiefs and Giants when it comes to NFL and the Jayhawks and Hokies when it comes to NCAA, and of course my fantasy team, the Blitz Divas.

What's your favorite football food? Today I have some chili, wings, ribs, dips, slow cooker recipes, meatballs and a lot of random goodness. Enjoy!
