The ingredients must have come to me in my sleep. The more I use my slow cooker, the more I love it.

Cedar Planked Salmon with Cayenne Lime Butter

Cedar Planked Salmon with Cayenne Lime Butter

This salmon is so delicious on it's own. I decided to cedar plank the salmon on the grill, and drizzle it with some cayenne lime butter.

After having a bite of the Chipotle Chicken Tacos my coworker brought for lunch a couple of weeks ago, this was my dinner two days later.

Avocado Chicken Salad Sandwich

If you know me you know I am a sucker for avocado and chipotle. I used a rotisserie chicken so it's super easy to make.

Egg, Prosciutto & Tomato Muffins
Sriracha Meatballs

I'm a big fan of savory muffins. These are pretty much mini omelettes in a cup. They are perfect for weekend brunch, and even better to make ahead for the week and then pop them in the microwave.

Slow Cooker Honey Soy Chicken

Slow Cooker Honey Soy Chicken

It's been awhile since I posted a slow cooker recipe. They're always a big hit on here and I know you guys will love this one!

This is another one of those don't judge a book by it's cover recipes...it's definitely not pretty, but it is darn tasty...trust me.

I served it over soba noodles and tossed it with some green and yellow pepper, which I highly recommend. It would also be great over rice and you could of course throw some red peppers in there. I also

Buffalo Chicken Burgers

Buffalo Chicken Burgers

We LOVE all things buffalo in our house, and these buffalo chicken burgers surpassed all of our expectations. And no, it wasn't because we have low expectations.

This is why...

Buffalo sauce was mixed into the chicken patties and then more was slathered on while grilling.

Blue cheese crumbles were mixed into the patties, just look at it oozing out below.

and, I added shredded carrots into the patties, so that means I could tell myself they were healthy :)

Buffalo Chicken Burgers 2

The burgers were then topped with avocado and immediately devoured. These were seriously so good, if you are a fan of buffalo sauce or my Pulled Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches these are a must try!

Thanks to Stefanie over at Sarcastic Cooking, her tweet about the Buffalo Turkey Burgers she made were my inspiration. It also made me want buffalo wings for breakfast.

Devil's Chicken Thighs with Braised Leeks & Dijon Mustard

Devil's Chicken Thighs with Braised Leeks & Dijon Mustard 2

Let's start by saying if you can't handle a lot of butter and oil, you should move on to another recipe, but if you do....keep reading, you're going to love this one!

We got a new table and I wanted to break it in with a nice meal, so I broke out Suzanne Goin's Sunday Suppers at Lucques and headed straight for this Devil's Chicken. I went for the Devil's Chicken because my brothers raves about it as his favorite dish at The Tavern in LA (Suzanne is the owner). I can already tell that there are a lot of recipes in this book will have me licking my plate. I might go for the Leg of Lamb with Chorizo stuffing next...

One more side note before I get to the recipe, you guys are lucky

Slow Cooker Pulled BBQ Chicken

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

I know I keep telling you this, but I love my slow cooker! Especially when it involves easy recipes like this pulled BBQ Chicken, where there are minimal ingredients involved and I can just dump them in and have a tasty meal 6 hours later. I was also excited to use some Stubbs BBQ sauce that I picked up on our trip to Austin.

This recipe is very similar to the Pulled Buffalo Chicken, just without the buffalo flavor. I'm a huge BBQ fan though so I had no problem devouring this version. Both the Buffalo and BBQ versions of this recipe would be an easy dish to add to your Super Bowl spread. You can serve the chicken on sliders for an appetizer or on regular rolls to make it a main meal. Next time I plan on making a BBQ Chicken Pizza. And you can of course always serve it straight up, BBQ style.

If you are making this for a large crowd you might want to up the quantities a bit, depending on how many people. This made enough for about 8 sandwiches.

And if you haven't already,

Arroz Caldo with Chicken

Chicken Arroz Caldo

I've been excited to share this soup recipe from my mother-in-law with you guys, I was just waiting for one of us to get sick, because it's guaranteed this soup will make us feel so much better. Because of that I call it my Magic Soup! Mr. KMW was the one who took the bullet for you guys and got sick just so I could share it with you all. So send him your thanks!

Arroz Caldo is a Filipino soup with chicken broth and rice. Although I'm pretty sure the ginger is the secret and that's what makes it magical. Next time someone in your house is under the weather make them this! Or you can just make it if your in the mood for some really tasty chicken soup.

I'm going to give this a try in the slow cooker next time, I'll let you know how it goes.
