The ingredients must have come to me in my sleep. The more I use my slow cooker, the more I love it.

Cedar Planked Salmon with Cayenne Lime Butter

This salmon is so delicious on it's own. I decided to cedar plank the salmon on the grill, and drizzle it with some cayenne lime butter.

After having a bite of the Chipotle Chicken Tacos my coworker brought for lunch a couple of weeks ago, this was my dinner two days later.

If you know me you know I am a sucker for avocado and chipotle. I used a rotisserie chicken so it's super easy to make.

Egg, Prosciutto & Tomato Muffins
Sriracha Meatballs

I'm a big fan of savory muffins. These are pretty much mini omelettes in a cup. They are perfect for weekend brunch, and even better to make ahead for the week and then pop them in the microwave.

3 Ingredient Beer Bread

Beer Bread 2

This is no joke, I have a 3 ingredient homemade bread here for you all today! No fancy machines needed.

I came home from work, tossed 3 ingredients in a bowl, mixed them together, put them in the oven, and then I was on to making dinner. Easy as that. And it's delicious! I am a total sucker for warm bread, fresh out of the oven, and I learned that Mr. KMW is too. I made it last night, and I refuse to admit how much or how little is left...

Beer Bread 3

This is a recipe from my Mom (that she got from a neighbor back in the day), she made it quite a bit growing up and I now know why. Easy to make and even easier to devour.

Bread with 'Stuff On It'

It's been forever! After traveling for Christmas and New Years, I spent a week in Vegas for work, then came back and was off for a long weekend in Whistler enjoying this.

Whistler 2013 (149)

I will definitely be following up with a Whistler travel post. It was a fun weekend of skiing, good company, après skiing, beautiful scenery and some good eats.

Now onto the Bread with 'Stuff On It.'

Bread with Stuff on it

I know, I know. I ditch you for a couple weeks and I come back with this non-recipe recipe. It's actually a perfect post vacation, quick throw together lunch or dinner as you get back into the grind. Or an easy one to throw together after working late. Not to mention, Mr. KMW loved this.

My cousin mentioned this 'recipe' when she visited a few months ago and it's already made its way into our rotation.

So here it goes for a really loose recipe, mix it up, use what you have on hand and play with your favorite ingredients. Below is the base to what I used this time around, and the measurements are rough estimates, this isn't a measuring kind of meal.

Let me know in the comments what 'stuff' you plan on putting on your bread!

Apple Zucchini Bread

Apple Zucchini Bread

I woke up early Saturday morning, inspired by the apples I had brought home from work on Friday and was ready to bake.

I decided to break out my Grandma's Zucchini Bread Recipe and just substitute some apples. My Grandma was a bread baking machine. It was a given that whenever we would visit my Grandparents farm growing up, there would be fresh bread available. My cousins and I would devour it at the breakfast table and more would appear, there was a never ending source...which may or may not have been the freezer.  Zucchini, Carrot and Banana were the usual suspects, and with apples on hand I knew zucchini was the route to go last weekend. If my Grandma could

Avocado Toast with Tomato

Avocado Toast with Tomato

I love avocados, and based on all of the visits and love I have received on this Avocado Chicken Salad post, you guys do too. I'm really glad we could find that common ground, I really see us having a future together.

This is a simple recipe that works for a healthy breakfast, lunch, a snack or even a light dinner. You could also leave the cheese off to make it even healthier. I had some pepper jack cheese on hand though and couldn't resist! I'm a sucker for cheese, especially if it adds some spice.

Here's the recipe for 1 toast, but I'm warning you know, you will most likely want to make more than 1!

Egg in the Hole

Egg in the Hole

I have a very simple, yet satisfying, breakfast for you today. Something that is not simple about this is it's name, I feel like there is a never ending list of what to call it. I call it Egg in the Hole, but it's also known as Rocky Mountain Toast, Eggs in a Blanket, Frog in the Hole, Bird's Nest, Cowboy Eggs, One Eyed Jacks, Toad in a Hole, okay I'll stop now, but really the list coud go on.

I like it simple with plain old wheat bread, but you can also branch out and
