Banana, Peach & Granola Smoothie #breakfast

As someone who has never liked milk, I've been making a lot of smoothies to get myself some more calcium, and to add more fruit to my diet. This recipe is definitely a base, I am always mixing up the fruit I use, with both a combo of fresh fruit from the local market and frozen fruit that I pick up at Trader Joe's. I like using frozen fruit to help thicken up the smoothie. 

Not only did I enjoy this smoothie, but it was a hit with Mr. KMW...while he is not always down with smoothies for breakfast...he wasn't letting any last drop of this one go to waste.

Other smoothies I have been enjoying are my Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie, Green Monster Smoothie and Strawberry Green Tea Smoothie.

See below for the recipe, adjust the milk or other ingredients to get the smoothie to the texture you like.

1 ripe banana (can be frozen, but doesn't have to be)
1 cup frozen peaches (this is approximate, I take a couple handfuls and throw them in)
1/2 cup granola, plus more for garnish
1 cup of milk

Blend together ingredients in blender until smooth. Serve in glass and garnish with granola.
