The ingredients must have come to me in my sleep. The more I use my slow cooker, the more I love it.

Cedar Planked Salmon with Cayenne Lime Butter

This salmon is so delicious on it's own. I decided to cedar plank the salmon on the grill, and drizzle it with some cayenne lime butter.

After having a bite of the Chipotle Chicken Tacos my coworker brought for lunch a couple of weeks ago, this was my dinner two days later.

If you know me you know I am a sucker for avocado and chipotle. I used a rotisserie chicken so it's super easy to make.

Egg, Prosciutto & Tomato Muffins
Sriracha Meatballs

I'm a big fan of savory muffins. These are pretty much mini omelettes in a cup. They are perfect for weekend brunch, and even better to make ahead for the week and then pop them in the microwave.

Rosemary Moscow Mule

Moscow Mule

Any other Moscow Mule fans out there? It's my latest cocktail of choice, I'm not sure if it's because of my new found obsession with Ginger Beer or that I'm in love with my copper mugs. I don't even know why they serve Moscow Mule's in Copper Mugs and Google couldn't seem to give me the obvious answer, but I do know the mugs are what make the experience.

What Google did teach me was that the Moscow Mule is what made vodka a popular spirit. Now if that's not another reason to be a fan of the drink, I don't know what is!

I know this isn't a new recipe by any means, and there are many Moscow Mules floating around the web, but I wanted to share with you what I've be drinking lately.

Below is what I use for 1 drink. I'm a fan of pouring it over one large ice cube from this ice cube tray.

1 shot of vodka
1/2 lime
ginger beer
sprig of rosemary

Place ice in mug. Add vodka and lime juice. Top with Ginger Beer. Stir with rosemary sprig, add rosemary and lime wedge to mug. Cheers!

My understanding is that the Moscow Mule is traditionally served in a copper mug, because the highball was developed at Hollywood's Cock 'n Bull Pub as a means for moving three quantities of unpopular merchandise: the mugs (complete with imprinted mule), the vodka, and the ginger beer.
