Grapefruit Basil Gin Fizz

Grapefruit Basil Gin Fizz

As you know, we're moving and according to the moving company we must drink all of our alcohol before they pack us up. Somehow we ended up with 3 bottles of gin in our bar, you know 1 for each of us, and then an extra in case of an emergency. Hence the Grapefruit Basil GIN Fizz recipe. Feel free to come over for happy hour, we still have a ways to go.

The recipe below is for one drink, but I know you'll want more, the basil adds a really nice touch.

Ingredients
4 basil leaves, 3 to be muddled, 1 for garnish
1 shot of gin
juice from 1/2 a grapefruit
1 shot of club soda
ice

Directions
Muddle 3 basil leaves. Shake together muddled basil with gin, grapefruit. Pour over ice, top with club soda and garnish with a basil leaf.  Cheers!
