Carrie I'm back! We just got back from spending a wonderful few days with my brother, sister-in-law and nephews in California and then flew home to New Jersey to celebrate Christmas with our parents. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed some good times with your friends and family. Are you ready to ring in the New Year? We'll bring in the New Year by celebrating the wedding of some good friends, we can't wait!
Before we roll into 2012 I wanted to leave you with Kiss My Whisk's top recipes from 2011. I started this blog at the end of March and I've had a blast with it so far, picking up readers and discovering new blogs and bloggers along the way. I can't wait to keep watching it grow! Let me know if you have any favorite recipes that you think should have made the top 10 list!

Black Bottom Pecan Pie This is the pie that my aunt made me for my birthday and was picked up by Jenna over at Eat, Live, Run in her Thanksgiving Inspiration post, which really helped bring some hits and awareness to KMW! Thanks Jenna.
Balsamic Four Onion & Portobello Turkey Burgers These aren't the prettiest, but are pretty darn tasty and really show you how far along I've come with my food photos the past nine months.
Spinach Balls This is a go to appetizer for my family; easy, tasty & you can make it in advance. I'm so happy to see something that was at my family reunions growing up get some traction.
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches Everyone loves a slow cooker recipe, this easy buffalo chicken works well as sliders for an appetizer or sandwiches for a meal. They're perfect for a crowd!
Slow Cooker Carnitas This recipe didn't make my top 10 in visits, but I let my husband pick one to add and he felt this was the most underrated recipe that KMW has had to date and that it deserves a lot more attention.
Soy Balsamic Slow Cooker Chicken This recipe was a result of me throwing some ingredients in the slow cooker last minute before work, it turned out delicious and has received numerous compliments!
Healthy Sweet Potato Skins Another recipe that works great for an appetizer and also for a main dish. I'm glad you guys liked it, because it was one of my favorites!
Butternut Squash, Black Bean & Spinach Burritos I made an effort to start making meatless meals this year and these burritos were a big hit at our house (apartment)!
Butternut Squash Pasta Bake This is heavenly, I'm pretty sure I could devour an entire platter of this pasta.
Wang Burger Replica I'm closing out with another recipe that wasn't in my top 10, but was my first post on KMW so it had to make the list! How can you go wrong with a burger, fried egg & bacon??
